Westwind Potters Nominated for Award in NICHE Magazine's New Top Retailer Awards Program

Baltimore, Md. (May 10, 2006) -- Westwind Potters of Harper's Ferry, WV, has been selected as a nominee in NICHE magazine's 2006 Top Retailer Awards. Westwind Potters has been nominated to receive an award in the following categories:

Top Retailer

Formerly titled the Top 100 Retailers of American Craft, the new Top Retailer Awards program will recognize 25 retailers and gallery owners, one Retailer of the Year, and give separate awards in several new categories.

NICHE magazine, the exclusive trade publication for retailers of fine American craft, will announce the winners at a ceremony on Friday, July 21, 2006, during the Philadelphia Buyers Market of American Craft at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.

More than 18,000 professional fine craft artists throughout the U.S. and Canada nominated nearly 700 galleries, retail stores, arts non-profits, museums and guilds for the inaugural Top Retailers Awards.
